Exposures

This is a selection of photographs I made with film. Most of the photography I did was with film until 2008 but I have clear sections to view in the site menus.

I have made portraits of various artists and their studios over the years. One of my favorite projects was a series of portraits of Willem and sometimes Elaine de Kooning in Bill’s studio in Springs, NY.

AWE was a series of portraits I made in 1986 when Halley’s Comet neared earth. I travelled throughout the world making large format portraits of people staring at the stars, looking for the comet.
